Måløv Axis and the adjacent city spaces is a visionary project underlining the lively Måløv city character in close contact to the amazing surrounding landscape. The movement trough the axis will – beyond being easy accessible for everyone, safe and clear – provide a spatial story relating to the distinctive character of Måløv and create an experience for citizens and visitors.

The main idea sets off in a reading of the area wide landscape and natural context. The landscape is a characteristic moraine landscape shaped through the impact of the glacial period. The glaciers have left a rolling landscape with kept ice holes, valleys and plains. A beautiful and recreational landscape accessible from north via Måløv Nature park and from south via Søndergaard lake and the Måløv wedge.

As a result the Måløv axis will appear as a fluent landscape building on the great historical values in the landscape creating a vibrant area full of city life and natural environments, rich on experiences, interesting and safe for everyone. A new connecting urban space in the city intertwining the existing and the new values.

Jardín Botánico de Barcelona

El nuevo Jardín Botánico se construye en la vertiente septentrional de la montaña de Montjuïc, entre el Estadio y el Castillo, a una altitud de 150 m sobre el nivel del mar. Se extiende sobre una superficie de unas 14 Ha. que, por sus dimensiones, constituirá uno de los mayores espacios verdes de la ciudad de Barcelona. El relieve es variado: hay desniveles de más de 50 m y el conjunto forma un gran anfiteatro orientado al sudoeste y abierto al valle del Llobregat, desde el cual se visualizará el Anillo Olímpico y una gran perspectiva de la ciudad y la Sierra de Collcerola.

En el proyecto para el nuevo Jardín Botánico de Barcelona las plantas se distribuirán de acuerdo con su procedencia geográfica y vivirán agrupadas según afinidades ecológicas. De esta manera el diseño del Jardín incorpora los conceptos y avances más importantes en el campo de la Biología que puedan ser reflejados en la estructura de un jardín.

El proyecto propone la utilización de una malla triangular como estructura fundamental, lo que permite diversificar las orientaciones con el mínimo movimiento de tierras: también facilita la creación de microclimas locales que permitan distribuir las unidades de vegetación de acuerdo con sus necesidades ecológicas y la orientación de las perspectivas en cada punto del jardín.

The Goal Of the project is to invite users to a path in which scene are always changing. You will have the sensation to discover always different spaces but with the same kind of characteristics. The Five Human senses are the main theme of the space; the material and the vegetation will be related to them .The user will not have an entire look over the park, but he will do a series of different experiences. The variation of high and inclination, dimensional games are some of the ludic peculiarity of the Park. We use the senses as a big metaphor. We use senses to relate ourselves with surroundings and other people. We would like to give a gift to the city: a relational space in a no one land without any relevant fisical and social context.
